Synthesis, structure, and properties of a new multiredox-active Sn(IV) complex based on 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone and ferrocenylaldimine phenol
摘要
A new mixed-ligand tin(IV) complex 2 derived from 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-benzoquinone and ferrocenylaldimine phenol 1 has been prepared and characterized by different physicochemical methods (IR, 1HNMR, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopies). Electrochemical transformations of complex 2 have been studied by cyclic voltammetry. Catecholate and ferrocenyl groups have been found to take part in the redox transformations. Chemical oxidation of complex 2 with silver triflate in a dichloromethane solution has been studied. Formation of monocationic complex 2+ has been detected by EPR spectroscopy. The catecholate ligand has been found to be the primary redox center subjected to oxidation.



Synthesis, structure, and photocatalytic properties of Zn1–xCuxO: CuO composites with various morphologies of aggregates
摘要
Using mixed copper zinc carboxylates as precursors, Zn1–xCuxO: CuO composite materials with various morphologies and microstructures of aggregates were synthesized. Their structural, optical, and photocatalytic characteristics were determined.



Modification of poly(vinyl chloride) with sodium salts of triazoles

New copolymers containing reactive vinyltriazole units and polyvinylene blocks with conjugation system promising as materials with special electrical, physical, catalytic, and sorption properties have been prepared by the reaction of poly(vinyl chloride) with sodium salts of 1,2,4-triazole and 1,2,3-benzotriazole in a dimethylformamide medium.



Special aspects of the photoluminescence of thermally annealed porous silicon layers

The effect of thermal annealing of porous silicon layers in various media with subsequent exposure to air on the photoluminescence spectra of the layers was described.



Synthesis and defect structure of quasi-one-dimensional composite material ZnO/ZnS
摘要
Nanostructured composite material ZnO/ZnS based on ZnO nanocrystalline nanotubes has been produced by the chemical bath deposition method. To retain the morphology of ZnO nanotubes, their surface was modified through chemical substitution of sulfur atoms for surface oxygen atoms and oxygen vacancies. The content of deposited ZnS nanoparticles depends on the nature of the sulfiding agent, pH, and the type of ligand. The morphological features of polycrystalline ZnO nanotubes remain unaltered in the course of long-term treatment of ZnO nanotubes in a sulfiding agent solution.



Quantum-chemical study of spiro[indoline-2,2′-[2H]-chromenes] and their complexes with a silver cluster

Computer modeling (DFT B3LYP/6-31G(d,p)/SDD) of the structure and spectral characteristics of photochromic 1,3,3,8′-tetramethyl-6′-formylspiro[indoline-2,2′-[2H]-chromene] and 1,3,3-trimethyl-6′-methoxy-8′-formyl[spiroindoline-2,2′-[2H]-chromene] complexes adsorbed onto the surface of a 10-atom silver cluster has been performed. It has been demonstrated that, depending on the position of the formyl group in the quinoline ring and the isomeric form of the spirocyclic compound, the change in the band intensity in Raman spectra caused by complexation with the silver cluster can reach three orders of magnitude.

In situ formation of porous mineral–polymer scaffold for tissue engineering
摘要
A principle of three-dimensional printing of composite materials with structure and properties close to natural human tissues was implemented. It was found that the inorganic component, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, crystallizes in the bulk of alginate matrix. The subsequent chemical treatment of experimental samples in buffered solutions promoted the formation of octacalcium phosphate on the surface of pore space of the printed material.
