Abstract

The photoanisotropic properties of polarization sensitive luminescent media applied in holography based on bituminous materials are studied. The effect of photoluminescence memory of the excitation linear polarization in Georgian crude oils and motor gasolines with different octane numbers is revealed. Photoluminescence and polarization spectra are obtained, and polarization characteristics of media depending on their chemical structure and composition are measured. A Denisyuk reflectance hologram is obtained in a luminescent photoanisotropic gyrotropic material using the linearly polarized coherent light, and its polarization characteristic is studied.
