Abstract

This paper considers the subjective quality of life and psychological wellbeing as different, albeit related concepts. We analyze the approach to measurements and international comparisons of psychological wellbeing developed by famous American researcher C. Ryff. It has been suggested that, after some improvements this approach can be used in the construction of the subjective indicator of quality of life.
