宗旨及范围

The journal "Values and Meanings" unites such fields of knowledge as philosophy, pedagogy, art studies and cultural studies. It is an interdisciplinary publication dedicated to the study of the fundamental foundations of human existence, pedagogical theories and educational practices, cultural processes and art forms.

The issues of the journal include articles under the headings: Theory and history of humanitarian knowledge; History of humanistic thought; Three "M's": method – methodology – methodology; Comparative research; Scientific School; Diagnostics of society; Preservation of cultural heritage; History and theory of art; Architecture: heritage and modernity; Scientific formation; Scientific abroad; Special opinion; Chronicle of scientific life; Anniversary of the scientist; Memory of the scientist; Primary source.

The journal, being a scientific and information-analytical publication, publishes materials in a scientific style in the genres of scientific articles, scientific reviews, reviews, information about scientific events and famous scientists.

The publication is intended for scientists, teachers, postgraduates, doctoral students, and independent researchers.

We invite authors who seek to understand the current challenges and prospects for the development of scientific areas of the journal to publish.

 
 

同⾏评审过程

Prior to reviewing, articles must be checked in the ANTI-PLAGIARISM system, the required originality is at least 80%.

 

All articles submitted to the editorial office that meet the requirements for the content and design of articles are subject to mandatory peer review. The review in the journal is anonymous.

The reviewers are doctors or candidates of sciences (from among the members of the editorial board and the editorial board, attracted specialists) who have a scientific specialization close to the topic of the article.

Reviewers are informed that the manuscripts sent to them for examination are subject to copyright law, copies of unpublished materials are not made, and the contents are not disclosed.

The review period is up to 3 months.

The article review indicates:

- relevance of the topic and the problem considered by the author;

- matching the title, annotation, and keywords to the content;

- scientific novelty of the material;

- structural and compositional integrity, logic of presentation;

- the need to use scientific literature and the quality of its analysis;

- compliance with ethical standards and norms of copyright, correctness of citation;

 

In conclusion, the reviewer concludes (one of the options):

recommend for publication, the text does not need revision and re-examination; recommend for publication after minor revision, the text does not need re-examination; recommend for publication after significant revision, the text needs re-examination; reject.

The author is provided with information about the reviewer's conclusions, recommendations for revision, or the final decision on publication, which is made by the editorial board, the editor-in-chief, indicating the number of the journal in which publication is planned and the approximate publication date.

Articles by graduate students and persons defending PhD theses are accepted only if there is a conclusion from the supervisor. However, this is not a reason for refusing to review the article in the prescribed manner.

The journal guarantees reviewers the secrecy of their names to the authors of articles.

The review is carried out free of charge.

The reviews are not sent to the authors, they are kept by the founder of the journal for 5 years.

 

出版周期

There are 6 issues per year: February, April, June, August, October, December. The circulation of one issue is 300 copies.

Editorial policy of the scientific and information-analytical humanitarian journal "VALUES AND MEANINGS"

The policy of the editorial board of the scientific and information-analytical humanitarian journal VALUES AND MEANINGS (hereinafter referred to as the Journal) is based on modern legal requirements regarding copyright set out in Russian legislation; ethical principles supported by the community of leading publishers of scientific periodicals; as well as the concept of rejection of plagiarism and defamation.

The journal is fully aware of its responsibility for making decisions on the publication of scientific articles, and therefore justifies each decision by involving leading Russian and foreign scientists and practitioners in the evaluation and analysis of materials submitted to the editorial office.   The reliability, scientific significance and relevance of the works are the main criteria for their evaluation.

When forming the editorial policy, the Journal proceeds from the recommendations of international organizations on the ethics of scientific publications. The editorial policy of the Journal is based on the advanced standards of Russian and international scientific periodicals, including the Code of Conduct and Best Practice guidelines for Journal editors and the Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers, developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics – Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). When implementing the internal policy, the editorial board of the Journal is guided by the specified documents.

Articles sent to the editorial board of the Journal should not be published or are under consideration in other publications in their current or similar form. All possible conflicts of interest related to copyrights and the publication of the articles in question must be resolved.  The authors confirm that their publication does not violate any of the existing copyrights. For the convenience of distribution and to ensure the implementation of the policy of using materials, the authors transfer to the publisher the non-exclusive ownership of the manuscript (license agreement).

In articles, it is unacceptable to copy verbatim more than 10 percent of another person's work without specifying his authorship, reference to the source and the use of quotation marks. Incorrect paraphrasing of a text by another author with a change of more than one sentence within the same paragraph or section of the text, or the arrangement of sentences in a different order without an appropriate reference to the source, is also prohibited. The editors do not allow the use of elements of another author's work without attribution, for example, a drawing, table or paragraph without an expression of appreciation, a reference to the source or the use of quotation marks. The authors must obtain permission from the copyright owner to use the elements of his work.

If fragments of the manuscript were previously published, the author(s) must provide a link to this work, as well as indicate what is the significant difference between the new work and the previous one, and identify its relationship with the research results and conclusions presented in an earlier work. The editorial board does not accept for consideration articles whose authors abuse self-citation. The acceptable limit is no more than three citations of the author's own works.

The editorial board adheres to the standards of academic ethics, protects the reputation of the authors and takes all cases of plagiarism seriously. In such situations, a system of procedures is used to respond to possible accusations of plagiarism.

 

The content of the article should correspond to the subject and scientific level of the journal and be of undoubted scientific interest. The title of the article should correspond to its content. The material proposed for publication must be original, not previously published in other print media. The author is responsible for the accuracy of reproducing names, quotations, and formulas. Copyrighted materials are accepted for publication.:

- scientific (practical) articles;

- reviews (review articles);

- reviews corresponding to the subject of the journal;

- translations (accompanied by the translator's commentary).

Согласие на обработку персональных данных с помощью сервиса «Яндекс.Метрика»

1. Я (далее – «Пользователь» или «Субъект персональных данных»), осуществляя использование сайта https://journals.rcsi.science/ (далее – «Сайт»), подтверждая свою полную дееспособность даю согласие на обработку персональных данных с использованием средств автоматизации Оператору - федеральному государственному бюджетному учреждению «Российский центр научной информации» (РЦНИ), далее – «Оператор», расположенному по адресу: 119991, г. Москва, Ленинский просп., д.32А, со следующими условиями.

2. Категории обрабатываемых данных: файлы «cookies» (куки-файлы). Файлы «cookie» – это небольшой текстовый файл, который веб-сервер может хранить в браузере Пользователя. Данные файлы веб-сервер загружает на устройство Пользователя при посещении им Сайта. При каждом следующем посещении Пользователем Сайта «cookie» файлы отправляются на Сайт Оператора. Данные файлы позволяют Сайту распознавать устройство Пользователя. Содержимое такого файла может как относиться, так и не относиться к персональным данным, в зависимости от того, содержит ли такой файл персональные данные или содержит обезличенные технические данные.

3. Цель обработки персональных данных: анализ пользовательской активности с помощью сервиса «Яндекс.Метрика».

4. Категории субъектов персональных данных: все Пользователи Сайта, которые дали согласие на обработку файлов «cookie».

5. Способы обработки: сбор, запись, систематизация, накопление, хранение, уточнение (обновление, изменение), извлечение, использование, передача (доступ, предоставление), блокирование, удаление, уничтожение персональных данных.

6. Срок обработки и хранения: до получения от Субъекта персональных данных требования о прекращении обработки/отзыва согласия.

7. Способ отзыва: заявление об отзыве в письменном виде путём его направления на адрес электронной почты Оператора: info@rcsi.science или путем письменного обращения по юридическому адресу: 119991, г. Москва, Ленинский просп., д.32А

8. Субъект персональных данных вправе запретить своему оборудованию прием этих данных или ограничить прием этих данных. При отказе от получения таких данных или при ограничении приема данных некоторые функции Сайта могут работать некорректно. Субъект персональных данных обязуется сам настроить свое оборудование таким способом, чтобы оно обеспечивало адекватный его желаниям режим работы и уровень защиты данных файлов «cookie», Оператор не предоставляет технологических и правовых консультаций на темы подобного характера.

9. Порядок уничтожения персональных данных при достижении цели их обработки или при наступлении иных законных оснований определяется Оператором в соответствии с законодательством Российской Федерации.

10. Я согласен/согласна квалифицировать в качестве своей простой электронной подписи под настоящим Согласием и под Политикой обработки персональных данных выполнение мною следующего действия на сайте: https://journals.rcsi.science/ нажатие мною на интерфейсе с текстом: «Сайт использует сервис «Яндекс.Метрика» (который использует файлы «cookie») на элемент с текстом «Принять и продолжить».
