Структура собственности и качество инноваций: данные из сферы патентной деятельности

Аннотация
Инновации высокого качества могут предоставить компаниям конкурентное преимущество на рынке, стать лидерами на рынке и эффективно реагировать на вызовы со стороны конкурентов. Данная работа направлена на выработку рекомендаций для китайских управленцев по улучшению качества инноваций. Исследование рассматривает влияние структуры собственности (концентрации собственности, государственной, институциональной и управленческой собственности) на качество инноваций с позиции корпоративного управления.
На основе данных о патентах китайских публичных компаний за период с 2012 по 2021 год было установлено, что качество инноваций зависит от различных форм собственности. Государственная, институциональная и управленческая собственность положительно влияют на качество инноваций. Вопреки ожиданиям, высокая концентрация собственности приводит к снижению качества инноваций.
Этот подход отличается от предыдущих исследований по двум ключевым аспектам. Во-первых, он выявляет факторы собственности, способствующие повышению качества инноваций, тем самым устраняя ограничения прежних исследований, сосредоточенных исключительно на одном типе собственности. Во-вторых, акцент на информации о патентах на изобретения позволяет точнее оценить подлинные инновационные возможности компаний в условиях переходной экономики.
