This article was prepared on the basis of qualifying work F.A. Prohorova dedicated to the highly topical subject of development of the Arctic zone of Russia. The authors described the socio-economic development of the Arctic region of the Russian Federation. Identifies and analyzes current issues of development of Russian Arctic territories and are defined by their solutions.
