Immersive simulators in the practice of teaching physical education at the university

Abstract

the research goal is to clarify the effectiveness of the immersive simulator for physical education training of university students. The study objectives are to identify the main characteristics of the immersive simulator for teaching physical education; to identify the main points of view of experts regarding the effectiveness of such a technology within the framework of the course of physical education at the university; as well as in the generalization of the data obtained in the empirical part of the study. The research methodology is based on the health-improving and adaptive approach and includes general scientific methods (generalization, systematization, formal logical method), as well as special methods: historiographic analysis of the scientific discourse of the topic under study, the method of expert assessments, the method of statistical analysis. Based on the study results, the following conclusion was formulated: the introduction of immersive simulators significantly increases the level of students’ involvement in the process of mastering physical education with a subsequent deep understanding of the essence of a healthy lifestyle. Immersive simulators also allow students to analyze the effectiveness of physical education training in real time, which significantly speeds up the process of learning physical exercise complexes.

Abstract

the article is devoted to the actual problem of the effectiveness of information and communication technologies for teaching physical education to students of modern universities. The study goal was to identify the level of effectiveness of information and communication technologies within the framework of physical education classes at the university. The research objectives are to identify the main means of information and communication technologies that can be used in the course of physical education Culture; in identifying the main points of view of experts regarding the effectiveness of such technologies in teaching physical education; as well as in the generalization of the data obtained in the empirical part of the study. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes general scientific methods (generalization, systematization, formal logical method). Special methods were also used in the study: historiographical analysis of the scientific discourse of the topic under study, the method of expert assessments, the method of statistical analysis. Based on the study results, the following conclusion was formulated: the use of information and communication technologies can significantly increase the efficiency of the process of mastering physical education by university students with the subsequent formation of a healthy lifestyle.

Pedagogical methods of forming motivation for physical training in students of non-core universities

Abstract

the article reveals an actual problem of the development of pedagogy of higher school in the field of teaching physical education. The research goal is to summarize the scientifically developed methods of forming motivation for physical education among students in a non-specialized university. The study objectives are: consideration of historiography on the topic under study; systematization of expert assessments and analysis of the results obtained based on the results of the empirical study. Such methods as analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization and formal-logical analysis are used. Within the framework of the empirical part of the study, the author applies the historiographical analysis of scientific literature on the topic under study; method of expert assessments, method of statistical analysis of results. Based on the study results, the following conclusions were formulated: the most effective methods for increasing motivation for teaching physical education at the university are the introduction of practice-oriented classes; conducting master classes in popular sports, as well as the use of innovative technologies and methods (gamification using virtual and augmented reality).

Methods of diagnosing the individual preparedness of an athlete for competitions

the article examines the current issues of methods for diagnosing the levels of individual athlete readiness for competitions. The research goal is to identify methods for diagnosing the individual fitness of athletes for competitions. The research objectives were to analyze scientific approaches to measuring the individual preparedness of an athlete for competitions; to consider the main points of view regarding the methods of diagnosing fitness an athlete during the competition; as well as to identify the most effective diagnostic methods. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach using general scientific methods (analysis, comparison, synthesis, generalization, formal logical method). In the course of the study, such special methods as historiographical analysis of scientific literature on the topic under study, the method of expert assessments, and the method of statistical analysis were also used. The following conclusions were formulated based on the results of empirical research: in modern conditions, the most effective methods for diagnosing the fitness of athletes are the assessment of the state of health, the degree of physical development, biological age, and the level of its functional fitness.

Methods for determining athletes' readiness for winter sports competitions

the article reveals an actual problem of methods used to determine the readiness of athletes for winter sports competitions. The study goal is to identify the most effective methods for determining the readiness of winter sports athletes for competitions. The research objectives are to establish experts’ opinions on the topic under study; to identify the most effective methods in the course of empirical research; to analyze the data obtained. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, generalization, formal logical method), as well as special methods: historiographic analysis of scientific literature on the topic of research, the method of expert survey, the method of statistical analysis. Based on the study results, the following conclusions were formulated: the most effective methods for determining the readiness of athletes for winter sports competitions are tests of physical indicators for strength, endurance, speed and coordination; tests for psychological readiness for competitions, as well as monitoring of recovery after training. These regular testing methods allow coaches to identify fitness levels and adjust training plans in a timely manner.

The research objectives of the study are to identify the main characteristics of adaptive physical education within the framework of inclusion; to consider the main points of view of experts regarding the effectiveness of adaptive physical education methods for social inclusion; as well as to generalize data obtained in the empirical part of the study. The research methodology is based on the health-improving and adaptive approach and includes general scientific methods (generalization, systematization, formal logical method), as well as special methods: historiographic analysis of the scientific discourse of the topic under study, the method of expert assessments, the method of statistical analysis. Based on the research results, the following conclusion was formulated: it is important to take into account the social aspect of adaptive physical education, since participation in group classes contributes to the development of social skills, team spirit and mutual support. Such a result is very important for the rehabilitation and integration of people with disabilities into society.

Effectiveness of forms of health-improving physical education: foreign experience

Abstract

the article reveals an actual problem of the introduction of health-improving physical education in the practice of foreign countries. The research goal is to identify the degree of effectiveness of this type of physical education in foreign countries in terms of applicability to various categories of citizens. The study objectives were to analyze the theoretical aspects in the scientific literature on the topic under study; to consider the evaluative judgments of experts regarding the problems under study, as well as in the analysis of the results obtained in the course of empirical research. The research methodology is based on a systematic approach and includes the methods of comparison, synthesis, formal logical analysis, as well as historiographical analysis of the scientific discourse of the topic under study; the method of expert assessments (in-depth interview), the method of statistical analysis. Based on the results, the author of the article came to the following conclusion: in Europe, the main attention is paid to programs that include elements of physical activity not only to improve physical condition, but also to increase psycho-emotional well-being. In the Scandinavian countries (Sweden and Norway), the concept of «active recreation» is successfully implemented. In the United States, the emphasis is on an interdisciplinary approach, in which physical education is closely related to medicine. In Asia, especially in Japan, traditional forms of physical activity such as tai chi and yoga are actively developing.

Determination of criteria for health-improving physical education

Abstract

the article reveals an actual problem of determining the criteria of health-improving physical education in the domestic scientific discourse. The research goal is to identify the main criteria for the use of health-improving physical education in Russian practice from the point of view of working with different categories of citizens. The study objectives were to analyze the theoretical scientific discourse of the topic under study; to conduct a survey among expert trainers and teachers of health-improving physical education, as well as to analyze the data obtained in the course of empirical research. In the course of the study of the stated topic, the methods of comparison, synthesis, and formal-logical analysis were applied. Among the special methods, the historiographical analysis of scientific literature on the topic under study was used; the method of expert assessments (express survey), as well as the method of quantitative statistical analysis. The data obtained as a result of the study allowed to formulate the following conclusions: health-improving physical education is a system of measures and practices aimed at improving the general state of human health, in which the main criteria are such aspects as physical fitness, the level of functional capabilities of the body, psycho-emotional state, and the degree of socialization.
