Abstract
It is proved that for any solvable subgroup G of an almost simple group S with simple socle isomorphic to An, n ≥ 5, there are elements x, y, z, t ∈ S such that G ∩ Gx ∩ Gy ∩ Gz ∩ Gt = 1.
