Abstract
The structural and photoluminescent properties of a heterogeneous system composed of a thin layer of C60 fullerene molecules and nanostructured ZnO film have been studied. It has been shown that this system, which is intrinsic for a particularly highly efficient photoinduced charge transfer, can lay the foundation for the design of a new generation of organic photovoltaic elements.
