Abstract

A model based on a fractal approach is proposed, which makes it possible to quantify the complexity of text structures in terms of the fragmentation of representing the meaning. By analogy with fractal dimensionality, based on the system-functional approach, indicators of the dimensionality of word combinations denoting concepts and sentences of natural language are introduced. A geometric illustration of the vector model of the formation of meaning expressed by such constructions as word combinations and sentences is presented.
