Abstract

One of the most common and dangerous types of cardiac arrhythmia is atrial fibrillation. Timely diagnosis of this disease is one of the most important tasks of human health monitoring systems. There are many algorithms for detection of atrial fibrillation, but their accuracy does not exceed 94.5%. In this study, a two-stage method for detection of atrial fibrillation is presented. It is characterized by a high level of specificity, which reduces the probability of overdiagnosis.
