Abstract

The main parameters of a laboratory membrane reactor for methane-steam reforming were analyzed by mathematical modeling. The high efficiency of a Pd/Ag membrane with a thickness of 2.25 microns on a porous ceramic substrate was confirmed by estimating the average hydrogen diffusion flow density to be 90−120 m3H2/(m2·hr).
