Abstract

A method for predicting and calculating friction coefficients and kinetic characteristics for electrodialysis separation of industrial solutions containing nickel ions was developed. Approximations for predicting friction coefficients that could then be used to calculate kinetic characteristics for electrodialysis separation of industrial solutions were obtained using the developed method. The discrepancy between experimental and theoretically calculated data was estimated in most instances at ≤ 5%, indicating that the developed method was acceptable for use.
