Abstract

The possibility and potential for enhancing the photochromic effect to create compositions with improved photochromic properties were studied and discussed. The effects of poly(methyl methacrylate), poly(vinyl acetate), and polystyrene matrices doped with a naphthopyran pigment were examined.
