Abstract

The results of a study of deformation of fabrics having a mobile structure during their liquid treatment with a tension are reported. It is shown that acetate fabrics undergo impermissibly high residual deformation when washed in machines with no guide roller drive. Residual deformation of fabrics in hot water can be reduced by 1.6-1.8 times and, at 20°, by 2.2 times by using a controllable guide of fabric transporting rollers.
