Aims and Scope
Geochemistry International is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles on fundamental problems in cosmochemistry; geochemistry of magmatic, metamorphic, hydrothermal, and sedimentary processes; experimental geochemistry; isotope geochemistry; organic geochemistry; biogeochemistry; and chemistry of the environment. Geochemistry International accepts manuscripts originally submitted in Russian and English languages from authors worldwide
Submitted manuscripts must align with the journal’s thematic focus and scientific objectives. Only original research is considered; submissions must be free of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. All papers undergo rigorous evaluation by a minimum of two independent expert reviewers.
Authors are visible to reviewers, while reviewers may choose to remain anonymous or disclose their identity (at their discretion). Our review team includes more than 270 experts from different countries (Russia, China, USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany and Japan etc). The average time from manuscript submission to first decision is 5 days, while the period from first decision to final acceptance for publication takes 180 days. The rejection rate of submitted manuscripts is ~30%. The editor-in-chief and/or the editorial board of the journal make the final decision on the acceptance of an article for publication.
The journal welcomes submissions in English from all countries.

Peer Review Process
The selection criteria for articles are as follows:
- 1. Relevance – the submitted manuscript must align with the journal’s scope.
- Publication ethics – the work must adhere to ethical standards, including the absence of plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
- 3. Peer review – the manuscript must undergo a rigorous review process by at least two independent reviewers.
Authors are open to reviewers, and reviewers can be open or closed to authors depending on the choice of reviewer. Our review team includes more than 270 experts from different countries (Russia, China, USA, Canada, Great Britain, France, Germany and Japan etc). Performance metrics shows an average of 5 days from submission to first decision, followed by 180 days until final acceptance. The rejection rate of submitted manuscripts is about 30%. The editor-in-chief and/or the editorial board make the final decision on the acceptance of an article for publication.
