Abstract

A dielectric barrier discharge plasma reactor has been designed and constructed. The space discharge regime has been implemented. The reactor operating conditions for the desired reaction have been calculated using the dissociation of water molecules as a model reaction. The operating conditions have been selected for the dissociation of water vapor via excitation of vibrational levels of the molecule by a single electron impact.
