Abstract
The design principles and construction of a section of a serial summator of high-power rectangular microsecond-duration pulses with a power of up to 5 MW, a current of up to 5 kA, rise and fall times shorter than 200 ns, and a pulse repetition rate of up to 10 kHz were investigated. The possibility of using this section to form series of rectangular microsecond pulses with a duration of up to 5 μs and a voltage of up to 50 kV is shown.
