Strain Hardening Curves and Mechanical Properties of a Chromium-Base Refractory Alloy as a Function of Heat Treatment and Test Temperature

Abstract

Strain hardening curves of a chromium-base refractory alloy are studied. The behavior of the curves is shown to depend on the heat treatment and on the test temperature. The mechanical properties of the alloy are determined as a function of the heat treatment mode and of the structure obtained.
