Abstract
The first finding of the northern rockling Ciliata septentrionalis was registered for the Eastern Murman Coast (Zelenetskaya Bay) in August 2013. The penetration of this species into the Barents Sea is linked to the favorable hydrological conditions in 2013. Zelenetskaya Bay may be considered as the easternmost margin of the geographical range of the northern rockling during the warm periods in the Barents Sea.
