Abstract

The experience gained in designing a construction pit for a three-story underground portion of a mixed-use complex is examined. Technical decisions making it possible to reduce significantly the cost of zero cycle work and the construction time are proposed. The results of calculations performed using two software systems of the pit enclosing structure as well as the results of their comparison with geotechnical monitoring data are presented.
