Some issues of long-term storage of electronic documents

Resumo

This paper considers basic aspects of the preservation of digital content using optical discs and special storage systems. Features of write-once and rewritable optical discs are shown. The EMC Centera datastorage system is discussed. The experience of work on the formation and storage of information arrays on the example of Digital Library Scientific Heritage of Russia and projects of the Russian State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation is analyzed.
