Abstract

The results of development and modeling of large-size parts based on thermoplastic, composite, sheet materials with high refractoriness and a three-layer sandwich structure obtained from structural thermoplastics reinforced by discrete glass fibers are presented. It is shown that the high physical and mechanical characteristics of glass-filled composites based on aromatic polyethers make it possible to fabricate refractory articles for different engineering applications.
