Abstract
The influence exerted by dissipation and mass correction when calculating the gravimetric ocean effect, as well as by selection of the Earth model, on the degree of closeness of the predicted parameter values of the Earth’s tidal parameters to the observed values computed by the network of superconducting gravimeters is estimated. The role of the latitude dependence of the loading delta factors and the applicability of the hybrid model of the latitude dependence of the amplitude delta factors for an elastic oceanless Earth is briefly discussed.
