Abstract

On July 15, 2020, at the age of 71, Nurlan Dzhumagulovich Batpenov, founder and first director of the Scientific Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in field of science and technology, honored worker, chief freelance traumatologist-orthopedist of the Ministry of Health, president of the Kazakh Association of Traumatology-Orthopedists, Traumatologist-Orthopedist of the highest category.
