Abstract

The aim of this work was to investigate an antimicrobial properties of platelets of domestic horse (Equus ferus caballus) and isolate an antimicrobial components. Using a liquid chromatography technique (RP-HPLC) ten fractions were collected from platelet's acid extract. Among these a four fractions demonstrated antimicrobial activity against S.aureus.
