Abstract
The structure of an unloading device for the thrust bearing of the rotor of a turbomachine has been presented in the paper. Its structure and operating principle have also been described. The end gas dynamic seal with spiral groove is examined as a main element of the designed element. A mathematical model of such seal is presented in the paper. The results of calculations and experimental investigations of the designed unloading device have been presented.
