Abstract
The spectral absorption properties of the rifampicin organic compound in solutions with different pH values are investigated. The absorption lines of rifampicin molecules in the UV and visible regions of the spectrum are calculated using the self-consistent field approach. The nature of the absorption bands of the rifampicin complex molecule are studied on the basis of quantum-chemical calculations of its model fragments.
