Abstract

A statistical theory of structural-phase transformations in imide Li2Mg(NH)2 is developed, free energies of three phases of imide α, β, γ are calculated, and their state diagrams are determined. Also, the isotherm, isobar, and isopleth curves are examined. Possible manifestation of the hysteretic effect is demonstrated for α- and β-phases. The results of calculations are compared with the experimental data.
