Abstract

Electrical and thermal properties of single crystalline and extruded samples of a p-type Bi0.5Sb1.5Te3 solid solution with various grain sizes are studied in a wide temperature range of 80–300 K. It is revealed that the grain sizes significantly affect the values of the thermal-e. m. f. (α), electrical conductivity (σ), and thermal conductivity (χ) coefficients of the samples under study.
