On the relation of the Methagalaxy mass to the gravitation constant. 1. from Einstein’s theory to the Einstein–Cartan theory
Аннотация
The notion of the dimensionless gravitational charge defined through the Planck mass and the fundamental constants specifying this mass itself is introduced. The Big Bang is related to the unified physical interaction decay and the drop of Newton’s gravitational constant by 40.67 orders of magnitude in comparison with the electromagnetic constant taken as unity. This causes an increase in theMetagalaxy curvature radius by the same value and a decrease in the average density of space–time curvature sources by 122 orders of magnitude: from the maximum allowable Planck density to the observed critical density. The microphysics appears naturally related to cosmology.



About the nature of 3He isotope content increase in the region of 2.223 MeV gamma line generation in the period of solar flare
Аннотация
The intense solar flare on January 20, 2005 is studied based on the SONG-D/AVSF/ KORONAS-F data. The data on time profiles of the 2.223 MeV neutron line and narrow nuclear lines are involved in the analysis. Model calculations of neutrons propagating from their generation region in the corona to the neutron line formation region in the lower chromosphere and photosphere are performed. Coulomb energy losses of helium-3 ions in the case of their allowed acceleration in the flare are calculated. The increase in the relative 3He concentration during the flare is numerically analyzed. The study performed in combination with independent data on the helium-3 content in the flare region and helium-3 fluxes in interplanetary space lead to the conclusion that the acceleration region is the most probable immediate source of the increased content of accelerated helium-3 isotope ions.



Features of low-temperature thermal expansion of n-type Bi2Se3 single crystals in magnetic field

Tensometric study of n-type Bi2Se3 single crystals in dc magnetic fields to 6 T in a temperature range of 7–23 K detected a weak negative thermal expansion (NTE) in the basal plane. The NTE increases with the field strength and depends on its orientation with respect to the trigonal c axis. In a magnetic field of 6 T, parallel to the c axis, the linear NTE coefficient reaches −7 · 10−7 K−1, and a minimum sample length is reached at a temperature of 13 K, where a Hall carrier concentration maximum is also detected. The found magnetoelastic anomaly can be associated with the topological insulator state.



Landau–Placzek ratio in viscous liquids
Аннотация
The Landau–Placzek ratio (LPR) is measured in glycerol and triacetin in a wide temperature (viscosity) range. It is attempted to explain a sharp change in the LPR based on the Isakovich and Chaban theory [1] which assumes a two-component structure of viscous liquid. It is shown that the LPR strongly depends on the cluster concentration, and their sizes remain unchanged.



Reliability of multicore optical fibers in fiber-optic delay lines

Analytical expressions for estimating the minimum acceptable bending diameter are derived as a function of the expected service life, probability of premature fracture, and optical fiber diameter, which can be used to estimate the multicore optical fiber functionality in the particular applications.



Search for the “stability island” of superheavy nuclei using natural track detectors
Аннотация
The method of using natural track detectors, i.e., meteorite olivine crystals, is developed and improved applied to the problem of searching for superheavy nuclei in nature, in galactic cosmic rays (GCR). The new technique implements the sequence of etching, grinding, and track identification operations using the automated PAVICOM facility. The data on the track length and etching rate in combination with the results of calibration on heavy nucleus accelerators allowed the development of a technique for determining the GCR nucleus charge with an accuracy of ±2. On this basis, a significant set of experimental data on superheavy nuclei of natural origin was obtained (21743GCRheavy nucleiwithZ >20, including three nucleiwith a charge of 119−6+10). The minimum lifetime Tmin of the last-mentioned is within 50 years< Tmin < 100 years, which exceeds the lifetime of transfermium nuclei synthesized on accelerators by many orders of magnitude. The long-lived superheavy nuclei detected in the GCR spectrum can belong to the “stability island”.



Quasi-static surface modes of plasma layer with anisotropic electron temperature
Аннотация
Quasi-static surface wave propagation in a plasma layer with anisotropic electron temperature is considered. The case is analyzed where the electron temperature in the direction normal to the plasma boundary is considered to be zero, while in the direction along the boundary, electrons are described by the Maxwellian velocity distribution. It is shown that the modes of such a layer are described by equations for bulk plasma waves with renormalization of the electron density affecting the surface wave dispersion and damping.



Modification of the discrete spectral parameters of optical solitons in fibers with variable dispersion
Аннотация
The spectral parameters of solitons result from the nonlinear Fourier transform for a pulse propagating in a fiber. A new approach for controlling the discrete component of spectral parameters is proposed. In the presence of a resonance between field oscillations and fiber dispersion, the real part of spectral parameters change, which leads to multisoliton pulse separation into fundamental solitons. It is proposed to use this effect for signal decoding in communication lines operating based on the nonlinear Fourier transform.
