Abstract
Abstract—A dynamic model of the sprayed particles with uniform distribution of the speed and temperature of the plasma flux is developed. Analytical estimates are obtained for the particle velocity in the flux—that is, the Biot number, which characterizes the heat transfer between the particles and the plasma flux—and also for the temperature distribution of the particles over time and over the radius. The fractional composition of the batch in the powder wire dispersed by argon plasma is calculated.
