Determining the Diameter of a Shaver and Roller System with Specified Tooth Radius of Curvature

Abstract

A mathematical approach to determining the number of teeth in a hybrid cutting–deforming tool—a shaver and roller system — with specified radius of curvature of its round tooth is outlined. The formulation of an algorithm for computer solution of the problem is considered.
