Optimization of forming parameters for fiberglass shells of rocket nose cones by a criticality criterion

Abstract

Forming of fiberglass shells by a winding method for the purpose of detecting the criticalities is analyzed. The quantitative assessments of criticalities are introduced as a finite set of indexes that are the multipurpose criticality functions. The optimal parameters for forming the fiberglass conic shell are found with respect to the criticality criterion.
