Effect of Heat Transfer Surface Shape on Efficiency of Gas Dynamic Temperature Stratification

Abstract

The effect of shape of heat transfer surface on efficiency of temperature stratification in Leontiev's supersonic tube is studied. Studies show that efficiency of the device increases by 1.5–2.25 times in the case of parabolic studs.
