Synthesis of bis[9-hydroxy-1-{N-hydroxy-2-[(2,4-dinitrophenyl)hydrazinylidene]alkanimidoyl}]-1,9-dihydro[C60-Ih][5,6]fullerenes

Resumo

Mixtures of cis-2- and cis-3-bis[9-hydroxy-1-{N-hydroxy-2-[(2,4-dinitrophenyl)hydrazinylidene]-alkanimidoyl}]-1,9-dihydro[C₆₀-I_h][5,6]fullerenes were selectively synthesized in high yield by reaction of cis-2- and cis-3-isomeric bis[9-hydroxy-1-(N-hydroxy-2-oxoalkanimidoyl)]-1,9-dihydro[C₆₀-I_h][5,6]fullerenes with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine in acid medium.
