The journal is intended for researchers, managers and specialists of veterinary and sanitary-epidemiological services, practicing veterinarians and managers of veterinary clinics, biologists, teachers of educational institutions of veterinary and zootechnical profile.

Peer Review Process

The procedure for reviewing manuscripts submitted to the editorial board of the scientific and production journal "Veterinary Doctor" is regulated by the Regulation "On the editorial review board and the work on editing and reviewing materials prepared by employees of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "FCTRB-VNIVI" for open publication." After manuscripts have undergone independent review, their author is given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the text of the review. Violation of confidentiality is possible only in the event of a reviewer's statement about the unreliability or falsification of the materials presented in the article.

The period for writing a review should not exceed 14 days. It reveals the relevance of the research carried out, its theoretical and practical significance, the scientific novelty of the materials proposed in the article; the proof and validity of the elements of scientific novelty of the article, its compliance with the requirements and profile of the journal (reviews are stored in the editorial office for 5 years). If the review of the article indicates the need for correction, the article is sent to the author for revision. In this case, the date of receipt by the editors is considered to be the date of return of the revised article.

An article sent to the author for revision must be returned in a corrected form as soon as possible. A letter with the authors' responses to all the reviewer's comments must be attached to the revised article.

The editors reserve the right to reject articles if the author is unable or unwilling to take into account the editors' wishes.

In case of disagreement with the reviewer's opinion, the author of the article has the right to provide a reasoned response to the editors of the journal. In this case, the article can be sent for a second review or for consideration by the members of the editorial board.

An article published in the journal is placed in the public domain; copyright remains with the authors.

Manuscripts received by the editors (regardless of whether they are accepted for publication or not) are not returned to the authors and are not stored. Manuscripts that receive a negative review from the reviewer are not published and are also not returned to the author.

Publication Frequency

Периодичность Журнала устанавливается - один раз в два месяца, т.е. 6 номеров в течение года. Тираж 1350 экземпляров.
