Aims and Scope
The journal is aimed at scientists, teachers, graduate students, and students, as well as heads and specialists of government, local government, and business structures.
The journal publishes scientific articles on the following scientific specialties:
5.2 Economics (Higher Attestation Commission SPECIALTIES: 5.2.1. Economic Theory; 5.2.4. Finance; 5.2.5. World Economy).
Articles with scientific novelty, originality, relevance, practical significance and designed in accordance with the established requirements for the content and design of articles proposed for publication in the journal "ETAP: Economic Theory, Analysis, Practice" are accepted for publication in the journal.
The editorial board recommends that the authors carefully familiarize themselves with the Editorial Ethics of the journal and the "Requirements for the content and design of articles proposed for publication in the journal ETAP: Economic Theory, Analysis, Practice." Articles that do not meet the stated requirements, as well as contradict the editorial ethics of the journal, are not considered for publication.

Peer Review Process
Prior to reviewing, articles must be checked in the ANTI-PLAGIARISM system, the required originality is at least 80%.
All articles submitted to the editorial office that meet the requirements for the content and design of articles are subject to mandatory peer review. The review in the journal is anonymous.
The reviewers are doctors or candidates of sciences (from among the members of the editorial board and the editorial board, attracted specialists) who have a scientific specialization close to the topic of the article.
Reviewers are informed that the manuscripts sent to them for examination are subject to copyright law, copies of unpublished materials are not made, and the contents are not disclosed.
The review period is up to 3 months.
The article review indicates:
- relevance of the topic and the problem considered by the author;
- matching the title, annotation, and keywords to the content;
- scientific novelty of the material;
- structural and compositional integrity, logic of presentation;
- the need to use scientific literature and the quality of its analysis;
- compliance with ethical standards and norms of copyright, correctness of citation;
In conclusion, the reviewer concludes (one of the options):
recommend for publication, the text does not need revision and re-examination; recommend for publication after minor revision, the text does not need re-examination; recommend for publication after significant revision, the text needs re-examination; reject.
The author is provided with information about the reviewer's conclusions, recommendations for revision, or the final decision on publication, which is made by the editorial board, the editor-in-chief, indicating the number of the journal in which publication is planned and the approximate publication date.
Articles by graduate students and persons defending PhD theses are accepted only if there is a conclusion from the supervisor. However, this is not a reason for refusing to review the article in the prescribed manner.
The journal guarantees reviewers the secrecy of their names to the authors of articles.
The review is carried out free of charge.
The reviews are not sent to the authors, they are kept by the founder of the journal for 5 years.
Publication Frequency
The publication frequency is 6 issues per year. Number 1 is the end of February, number 2 is the end of April, number 3 is the end of June, number 4 is the end of August, number 5 is the end of October, number 6 is the end of December.
Open Access Policy
The editorial staff puts all the issues in the public domain on the websites cyberleninka.ru ; eLibrary.ru
Each author or team of authors has the right to receive one copy of the printed issue of the journal.
Ethical principles of the journal
1. The editorial policy of the scientific and information-analytical economic journal ETAP: Economic Theory, Analysis and Practice (hereinafter referred to as the Journal) is based on modern legal requirements for copyright, enshrined in Russian legislation, ethical principles supported by the community of leading publishers of scientific periodicals, as well as the principles of rejection of plagiarism and defamation.
2. When forming the editorial policy, the Journal proceeds from the recommendations of international organizations on the ethics of scientific publications. The editorial policy of the Journal is based on the best standards of Russian and international scientific journals, including the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and the Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). When implementing the internal policy, the editorial board of the Journal is guided by these documents.
3. Articles submitted to the editorial board of the journal should not be published or under consideration in other publications. All possible conflicts of interest related to copyrights and the publication of the articles in question must be resolved. The authors confirm that their publication does not violate any of the existing copyrights. For the convenience of distribution and to ensure the implementation of the policy of using materials, the authors transfer to the publisher the non-exclusive ownership of the manuscript (license agreement).
4. The editorial board considers it unacceptable to publish articles with copying of more than 10 percent of someone else's work without specifying its authorship, a link to the source and the use of quotation marks. Incorrect paraphrasing of another author's text with a change of more than one sentence within one paragraph or section of the text, as well as the arrangement of sentences in a different order without a corresponding reference to the source, is also prohibited. The editors do not allow the use of elements of another author's work without attribution, such as a picture, table, or paragraph without an expression of gratitude, a link to the source, or the use of quotation marks. Authors must obtain permission from the copyright owner to use elements of their work.
5. If fragments of the manuscript have been previously published, the author(s) must provide a link to this work, as well as indicate what is the significant difference between the new work and the previous one, and disclose its relationship to the research results and conclusions outlined in the earlier work. The acceptable self—citation limit is no more than three references to the author's own work.
6. The editorial board adheres to the norms of academic ethics, protects the reputation of the authors and takes all cases of plagiarism seriously. A system of procedures is used to respond to possible accusations of plagiarism.
7. The content of the article should correspond to the subject and scientific level of the journal and be of undoubted scientific interest. The title of the article should correspond to its content. The material proposed for publication must be original, not previously published. The author is responsible for the accuracy of reproducing names, quotations, and formulas. The following copyrighted materials are accepted for publication:
- scientific (practical) articles;
- reviews;
- translations (with translator's comment).
8. The journal is fully aware of the responsibility for making decisions on the publication of scientific articles, therefore justifies each decision by involving leading Russian and foreign scientists and practitioners in the evaluation and analysis of the materials received by the editorial board. The main criteria for their evaluation are the reliability, scientific significance and relevance of the work.
