Aims and Scope
The journal publishes original, previously unpublished texts on a wide range of topics related to pedagogy, educational psychology and cognitive sciences. Particular attention is paid to the problems of upbringing and education in a cultural and multicultural environment. Materials may contain analysis and generalization of existing theories and practices, description of innovative approaches and technologies, new concepts and models in the field of educational psychology and pedagogy, theory and methods of general and professional education. The journal welcomes empirical and experimental research in the relevant areas.
Peer Review Process
The editors accept for publication original texts that have not yet been published or are not under consideration in other publications. The proposed articles must correspond to the main scientific areas of the journal. The authors are fully responsible for the content of the materials, the accuracy of the translation of the abstract, citations, and bibliographic information.
Manuscripts for publication are accepted in electronic form. The text, up to 1 pp. (40,000 characters and spaces), formatted according to the journal requirements, must be sent to the editorial address (nj-psy@elsu.ru). Authors can also personally submit the manuscript to the editors.
After receiving the manuscript, the responsible secretary of the journal organizes:
1) an initial check of the manuscript for compliance with the main scientific areas of the journal and the formatting rules;
2) checking the manuscript in a system such as Antiplagiat to establish originality;
3) reviewing the manuscript (blind review, carried out on a confidential basis by members of the editorial board of the journal and recognized experts who have publications on the subject of the manuscript).
The manuscript review period is up to four weeks.
The editors reserve the right to reject the manuscript at any stage, providing the author with a reasoned justification.
The manuscript may also be returned to the author for revision based on the results of checks or review. An article sent by the author to the editorial board after the comments have been corrected is reviewed in the general manner.
The final decision on the publication of the manuscript is made by the editor-in-chief of the journal and, if necessary, the editorial board.
By submitting an article for publication, the author agrees to the editing of the text necessary for its publication.
