Аннотация
The article substantiates the international legitimacy and geopolitical expediency of the political and legal interpretation of Russia's soft power in the guise of its soft authority, and identifies the federal need to conceptualize the latter in a separate doctrinal document. The federal rationality of creating an appropriate specialized interdepartmental structure based on the comprehensive integration of the resources of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian Academy of Sciences, Rossotrudnichestvo, Rosmolodezh, Russkiy Mir, RT, Sputnik, and other non-governmental organizations, projects, programs, and consortiums is argued. The objective dependence of the national attractiveness and international effectiveness of Russia's soft power on the process of strengthening its sovereign statehood is identified.
