The originality of the manuscript text should be at least 70%, allowing no more than 10% of citations. Self-citing cannot exceed 10%.

Requirements for the design of manuscripts

Specify the type of manuscript (scientific article, review article, personalities)
The length of the paper is 15-25 thousand characters with spaces (excluding the abstract and the list of references), the length of the review paper is more than 30 thousand characters (A4 sheet size).

The paper must be saved in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). The text of the paper must be typed in TimesNewRoman Cyr font, size 14pt, with line-to-line spacing — 1,5. The margins are 25 mm. First line indent is 1.25 cm. The numbering is at the bottom in the center of the page.

The title of the paper is written in Times New Roman straight bold font, size 14 pt, without paragraph indentation, in common letters with center alignment, no dot is placed at the end of the article title.

The initials and surnames of all authors separated by commas in the "Initials Surname" format are written in Times New Roman straight bold font, size 11 pt, without paragraph indentation, in common letters with center alignment. The surname of the corresponding author is indicated by a sign (*).

Specify the email address of the author to correspond with.

The abstract is 200-250 words (not characters), which is a brief description of the paper, reflecting the content and research results. The abstract text should not duplicate the text of the paper and should be structured in accordance with the logical sequence of disclosure of the following parts: the relevance of the research topic, the formulation of the problem, the purpose and objectives (about 50 words), a brief description of the objects and methods of research (it is advisable to describe the method or methodology of the work if they are new or of interest from the point of view of this work) (about 40 words); specific research results with brief comments, key conclusions, including justification of the novelty of the contribution to science, the practical significance and prospects of the research (about 100-150 words). When writing an abstract, uninformative phrases such as "the author of the article is considering ...", introductory words and phrases should be avoided. The description of previously published works and well-known provisions are not given in the abstract. The abstract is drawn up in a straight Times New Roman font, size 11 pt, without paragraph indentation, in common letters with width alignment.

Keywords are significant words or phrases from the text required for automated search (no more than 7) in Times New Roman straight font, size 11 pt, without paragraph indentation, in common letters with width alignment.

All the elements of the title page are presented on a separate line and separated from each other by an empty line.

The English version of the title page must have a high professional level of translation.

The structure of the paper (the following sections are highlighted):

  • Introduction (1/5 of the length of the paper). The expediency of conducting this research is substantiated, the current state of the issue is considered and the purpose of the work is formulated.
  • Objects and methods of research (1/5 of the length of the paper). The description, the scheme and the location of the experiment are given, references to standard and original methods are given, methods of statistical processing and computer programs are indicated.
  • Result discussion and Conclusions (3/5 of the length of the paper).
    All section names are shown in bold type.
  • References (Times New Roman Cyr font, size 12, with line-to-line spacing – 1).

Spelling and grammar.
During the process of typing the manuscript of the paper, it is mandatory to observe the spelling and grammatical rules adopted in Russian, as well as the requirements of GOST for text documents:

  • initials are not separated from surnames when transferring;
  • abbreviated expressions are not separated when transferring (etc.);
  • separation is not allowed when transferring digits forming a single number.;
  • numbers and letters with parentheses (or dots) are not separated from the word following it, as well as the signs and symbols of the numbers following them.

All footnotes are reprinted only on the page of the paper to which they relate. Footnotes are printed at the end of the page, under the main text and separated from the latter by a horizontal line. It is not allowed to break footnotes and move them from page to page; the footnote sign can be of two types: an Arabic numeral if the digit refers to a word, and an asterisk if the link refers to a digit or symbol. To insert footnotes, it is mandatory to use standard MS Word tools designed for these purposes. All pages of the article, including tables, photographs, diagrams that are located on separate pages, and a list of references, should have consecutive numbering.

Design of numbered and bulleted lists.
Only a long worm (hyphen) is allowed as a marker in the lists: "–", which is typed by simultaneously pressing the keys: Ctr1+"-" on the numeric keypad. A short dash is used only inside words like: long-term, time-out, etc., and it is not allowed to be used as a marker in lists.
Lines in lists begin with a hyphen separated by a small letter and a semicolon ";" is placed at the end of each line.

Design and numbering of figures, diagrams, and flowcharts.
The number of illustrations placed in apaper is determined by its content and should be sufficient to give clarity and concreteness to the presented text. All illustrations (photographs, diagrams, drawings, etc.) are referred to as figures and numbered sequentially. It is mandatory to indicate the authors of the photo or a link to the source.
When referring to a figure, its full number should be indicated, for example: "Fig. 2." Repeated references to the figure are given with the abbreviated word "see", for example: "see Fig. 2". If there is only one figure in the work, then it is not numbered.
Under the figure, after the words "Fig. 2.", the name of the figure is written in Russian. The next line gives the name of the picture in English, starting with the words “Fig. 2.”.
Figures should be placed immediately after the link to them in the text of the paper, or if they are not placed immediately after the link to them, for example, at the end of the page, then immediately on the next page. In this case, the empty space at the end of the page is filled with text.
Place figures only on book pages.

Design and numbering of tables.
It is recommended to format the digital material contained in the paper in the form of tables. The tables are numbered sequentially throughout the work. The title is placed behind the word "Table" above the corresponding table. The next line shows the name of the table in English, starting with the word "Table". It should not be underlined, transferring of words in the title is not allowed, and a dot should not be placed at the end of the title. The headings of the table columns must begin with capital letters. It is not allowed to divide the table headings diagonally. The height of the rows must be at least 8 mm. The column "№ item" may not be included in the table.
There is no paragraph indentation in the fields of the tables.
Tables can have a different font size and type, as well as a different line spacing.
The table should be placed after the first mention of it or immediately on the next page. In this case, the empty space at the end of the page is filled with the text that follows the table.
With a large table size, if it does not fit on one sheet, it is allowed to split the table into several parts by pages. In this case, its name is written at the beginning of the table, and on the subsequent ones the horizontal header is repeated and above it, aligned to the right, is written: "Continuation of Table 3". If the horizontal header of the table is bulky, then it is allowed not to repeat it, but simply to number the columns on the first sheet of the table and repeat their numbering on the following pages. Place tables only on book pages.
When referring to a table, its number is indicated, for example: "Table 12". Repeated references to the table are made in the form: "see Table 12". If there is only one table in the work, then it is not numbered and the word "Table" is not written. If numbers or other data are not provided in any row of the table, then a dash or asterisks are placed in it (it is not allowed to use a space or an empty field in the absence of data).

Design and numbering of formulas.
All formulas in the article must be completed using the MS Word formula editor using the default style. When defining symbols from formulas, the corresponding symbols, variables with indexes, etc. in the text are also necessarily executed using the formula editor.
Conventional letter designations of physical, mathematical, and other quantities, as well as conventional geographical designations, must comply with established standards. In the text of the paper, an explanation is given before naming the parameter. If there is more than one formula in the work, then they are numbered with numbers in parentheses, aligned to the right.

Information about a conflict of interest. At the end of the paper, the authors should indicate a real or potential conflict of interest (in Russian and English). If there is no conflict of interest, then it should be written that "the author(s) declares that there is no conflict of interest."

After the list of references, complete information about the authors is provided in Russian and English (full name, academic degree and title, position, place of work, city, country, ORCID, e-mail).

The list of references is drawn up according to international standards, according to the sample posted on the website. The list of references is given in the order of citation of works in the text. The text of the paper gives the ordinal number of the source from the list of cited literature in square brackets.

IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED to use more than three online sources, as well as literature that has been published for more than 5 years.

The list of references DOES NOT INCLUDE unpublished works, textbooks, study aids and abstracts of conference materials.

IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED to refer to publications that are inaccessible to most readers (departmental publications and instructions, statistical reports, government documents (government resolutions, laws, etc.), articles in socio-political newspapers and magazines, GOST standards, technical specifications, dissertations).

The recommended number of links for an original scientific paper is from 15 to 30, for a review article – at least 50, of which at least 40% are links to papers from foreign journals or other foreign sources.

Self-citing, as well as citation of other authors, should be justified and correspond to the subject and objectives of scientific work. According to the ethics of scientific publications, the degree of self-citation should not exceed 10 percent.

If the cited paper or book has a digital DOI and EDN identifier, they MUST be indicated after the output data in the format https://doi.org/10.1016/j.hpj.2019.06.001. The author is responsible for the correctness of the data provided in the list of references (see the "Letter of Guarantee").

At least 80 % of the sources from the list of references should be published in periodicals within the last five years. The number of links to articles from the journal on global citation indexes (Scopus, Web of Science) is at least 10 %. Publications from leading Russian scientific journals must be cited (Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) database). The lack of citations of foreign authors, as well as the lack of citations of literature published over the past 5 years, reduce the chances of a manuscript being published. The composition of the citation should reflect the real contribution of representatives of different countries to the study of the problem.
