Aims and Scope
The journal is dedicated to current issues of copyright, related, cultural and information rights, legal regulation of cyberspace, legal support for the development of artificial intelligence technologies.
The magazine is aimed at a wide audience, which includes:
professors, teachers, students, graduate students of the faculties of law, media, communications, creative industries, researchers at research institutions, journalists and editors, bloggers, owners and operators of information resources, judges, prosecutors, lawyers, patent attorneys and other legal practitioners specializing in areas of copyright, related, cultural and information rights; a wide range of people interested in problems of copyright, related, cultural and information rights.

Peer Review Process
The article undergoes mandatory single-blind peer review. For the review procedure, the editor-in-chief selects one reviewer on the principle of connection between reviewer’s specialization and the general topic of the article. Main specializations for ranking are intellectual property, artificial intelligence, information law, state and law, cultural rights. To be published, an article must comply with the journal's design rules and must also be positively assessed by the reviewer. If there are comments, the article is published only after they have been corrected. In case of a negative review, the article is rejected.
The review period for articles is 60 days.
Publication Frequency
The journal is published four times a year: in March, in June, in September and in December.
In addition to these issues, from 2024, the WIP Digest will be published once a year with selected articles in English or translated into English that might be of interest to foreign researchers. The circulation of the magazine is 200 copies.
Open Access Policy
The published articles are publicly available on the journal's website: https://tis.hse.ru/. The authors have the opportunity to receive three author’s copies. The print verison of the journal is also available for free at UNESCO Chair events.
