The journal “Genres of Speech” is a scientific periodical. Dedicated to the problem of speech and communication genres, current directions in the study of speech genres. The magazine was created on the basis of the serial thematic collection of scientific articles “Genres of Speech” (Saratov-Moscow, 1997-2012, issue 1-8), which has become widely known in Russia and abroad.
Published since 1997. The editors emphasize the continuity of the journal “Genres of Speech” in relation to the collection by maintaining the numbering: the first issue of the magazine is also the ninth issue of the collection.
