Аннотация
В обзорной статье раскрыты возможности дифференцированного анализа глобального измерения популизма путем систематизации зарубежных (главным образом) и оте чественных исследований. Это позволило соотнести теоретические и компаративистские разработки исследований популизма, с одной стороны, и актуальные, традиционные проблемные области науки о международных отношениях - с другой. Данный подход способен продемонстрировать как уже представленные в литературе, так и потенциальные возможности для дифференцированного анализа глобальных аспектов популизма. Научная новизна заявленной статьи заключается в определении возможностей существующего академического поля для анализа внешнеполитических эффектов популизма. В результате исследования сделан вывод о том, что внешнеполитические позиции и политические курсы популистов являются производной от внутренней политики и их противостояния традиционным элитам. Структурное давление (давление международной среды) и принятие правил игры после прихода к власти, даже при сохранении антиэлитистского дискурса, делает попытки типологизации и классификации внешнеполитических позиций популистов крайне сложными и зачастую непродуктивными.
