ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN TANZANIA: FEATURES AND TRENDS

The article analyses the specificity of modern development sectors of the national economy of Tanzania and the pace of their development, which should be based on internal resources, but use positive external impulses. The article described the country’s economic development indicators in the dynamics in the period 1970-2013 gg. in comparison with those in neighboring countries. It analyses the situation in agriculture and industry. It is shown that Tanzania is a country attractive for foreign investment due to political stability, favorable investment legislation.
