Abstract
The article shows the results of socio-pedagogical study of students at Stavropol major universities. Various aspects of professional socialization at an educational institution (professional interest, psychological comfort, learning outcomes, readiness for practical work) are revealed. The study results indicate the direction of successful professional socialization of students and identified emerging trends.
