Abstract
The article deals with the problem of interaction of medicine and an individual, the role of intelligence and culture in modern civilization. The author refers to the experience of Samara State Medical University and current reports, sounded at the conference «Humanitarian support of innovation in Biology and Medicine» held in Samara in May 2014.
