Abstract
The sociological analysis of the ophthalmologic staff of a polyclinic link of Astrakhan is lead by questioning 35 ophthalmologists (83,3 % from total) under specially developed questionnaire. The given analysis has allowed to reveal a lot of the existing problems interfering formation of a social - psychological climate, and also lowering motivation to work. On the basis of the received results of research offers on increase of prestige and the professional status of the doctor are generated.
