Formation of Patriotism among Students of Educational Organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia by Commanders of Cadet Units

In this article, the subject of the study is the process of forming patriotism among students of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, carried out by the commanders of cadet units. The study identifies the main normative legal acts on the civil and patriotic education of young people. Taking into account the levels of formation of patriotism and its components (cognitive, motivational, operational, behavioral, productive, regulatory, value, emotional-volitional), an in-depth analysis was carried out in order to determine the reasons for the lack of formation of the studied quality in some cadets and trainees. In addition, the study defines a list of the main directions of patriotic education of university students. To identify the level of formation of a sense of patriotism, the author's questionnaire "My Patriotism" was developed, with the help of which a survey of cadets and senior students of the faculty was conducted to train specialists for public order and public security units. Based on the results obtained, it was found that the overall group level of formation of the components of the sense of patriotism is average, most of the cadets need to increase the level of formation of certain components of the sense of patriotism. Theoretical and practical study made it possible to present a comprehensive approach to the study of the formation of patriotism among students of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia by the commanders of cadet units, which was the novelty of the article.
