Abstract
This article presents the results of the study focusing upon the methods for accidental lacunae translation from Chinese into Russian. This study is aimed at identifying the most adequate ways to translate that kind of vocabulary from Chinese. The research material was the original text of Yan Ge-ling’s story “The Thirteen Women of Jinling.”
